Spirit Armz is the central story of the entire Akako-Verse. Taking place before, during, and after stories in the Spirits Of Series. Spirit Armz follows the story of a young girl named Sakura Takeda who gets a guardian angel,Tsuki Koneko. Sakura finds out that Tsuki is not a regular guardian angel but instead a Zodiac Angel which means Sakura is destined to play a part in either causing or preventing the world from ending. The story starts off light enough, but mileage may vary as the story gets darker with every chapter before leading to a climax in which no character's fate is certain.

Introduction Arc[]
In the series opener a multi perspective view is taken, not focusing mainly on any single character, but instead branching out and showing the views of many characters. Some characters include Sakura Takeda, Daitaro Akako, and Clopas Christ. The story begins from the perspective of Sakura, whom has gone to her first day of school. She is unsuccessful in gaining any new friends, and was unable to speak up much for herself. This drives Sakura to go home sadly, after having waited a while for her foster brother, Daitaro. Once home Sakura laments on the events of the day. After a bath, Sakura prepares to go to bed early. She looks out of her window and sees not only a beautiful full moon, but a shooting star. It is here that Sakura makes a wish, asking for a best friend, a best friend who can make her a stronger person. Much to Sakura's surprise, the star continues to plummet, and seems to come closer and closer, before crash landing just a block away. Sakura rushes to the scene only to find the smoldering meteor is actually a shinning egg. At this point Sakura is attacked by a crude Shinigami, but manages to touch the egg before her and the light shinning off of it as it hatches scares her enemy away. This is where Sakura comes face to face with her guardian angel, Tsuki Koneko, for the first time.
In a retelling of the events from the first day we learn Daitaro, and Saito's part of the story where they encounter Kei. Daitaro, and Saito having stayed after school to spar a bit while Sakura walked home. On their way home they are asked by Daitaro's cousin, and class president, Hideki Seshi, to pick up his younger sister, Shiro, from school. They do this, and it leads to them coming face to face with a Forgotten. The creature attacks them, something that usually does not happen. At this time Kei Nezumi, and Dusk appear. The Forgotten manages to kill Daitaro, much to the angels dismay. Kei breaks the rules and uses some of her spiritual power to jolt the dying Daitaro back to life. She then proceeds to take out the Forgotten. She rushes off, and her wings disappear, confirming that she may be Daitaro's guardian angel.
In a retelling of the events from Clopas Christ and Dusk's point of view they discuss Angels in general as well as why Dusk travels to earth, and why Kazuma goes with him, yet does not appear in the first chapters. The zodiac is brought up as well as Clopas beginning to look for some new members, after being informed that Tsuki, and Kei are the new cat and rat respectively.
